Hygiene and sanitary procedures

• Wearing of gloves, mask and visor as well as a sweat suit (disposable gown worn during ear piercing) for the consultant during the entire piercing period.
• Cleaning and disinfection of the workstation and the area where the person will be sitting before and after the piercing.
• All our earrings are 100% sterile.

• Cleaning the earlobes with an antiseptic
• Marking the ear piercing points with a surgical pencil

All FACES retail outlets and boutiques are equipped with a single-use ear piercing system. It’s easy, quick and above all, very safe. All our earrings have ultra-thin earwires for gentle piercing. No needles are used, and each pair of earrings is wrapped in a sterile adapter.

*The service is provided free of charge with the purchase of one pair of earrings in store. We can pierce the ears of infants starting at 3 months of age. Local anaesthesia using an analgesic cream is available (this option takes 45 to 60 minutes).

** Please note that anyone under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian or produce a written consent of the adult in charge along with a personal I.D. card.

***For hygiene and security reasons, a new pair of earrings must be purchased whenever a piercing needs to be redone.
